Is it just me or does anyone else ever buy something from the pccmarkets deli and save the ingredients list so you can recreate it at home? I recently discovered their Syrian Pomegranate Dip (aka Muhammara) and it’s quickly becoming my latest addiction. I’ve been spreading it on veggies, avocado toast, or eating it by the spoonful because it’s that good! The recipe traditionally calls for walnuts but I had pecans on hand which made for a great substitute.
3 roasted red bell peppers
2 cups walnuts, toasted
1 tsp smoked pap
1 tbsp pomegranate syrup (can be found at PCC)
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp minced garlic
1/4 tsp cayenne (more if you like some heat)
Juice of half lemon
Add all ingredients to a food processor or high speed blender and process until smooth.
